High Grade AZ: A Cultivation Growing to Meet Demand
High Grade AZ – Phoenix, AZ
Since originating in 2017, High Grade AZ has remained dedicated to the cannabis community and become a leader in the industry by perfecting their cultivation and extraction methods, staying patient-centered and producing connoisseur-grade flower. In less than three years, the team has achieved that and more, winning multiple Errl Cup awards and going beyond the expectations of themselves and the community at large.
High Grade AZ’s facility now spans an impressive 70,000 square feet, including 14 flower rooms, three vegetation rooms and two mother rooms making up the bulk of the space committed to cultivation, which hosts 30,000 plants at capacity and can produce 200-250 pounds of cured flower every week from more than 60 different strains. Additionally, the site also houses two extraction labs and a brand-new kitchen. Their hands-on “soil to oil” process allows the team to stay connected to their crop by handling, transporting, trimming and watering each plant by hand, using a mixture of in-house nutrients and amendments.
“We use an all-organic coco and perlite formula — everything is hand-manicured, hand-trimmed in the end,” says brand manager Lev Lewis. “Our team shows a lot of love to every single piece of the operation.” In lieu of pesticides, the grow has opted to use an integrated pest management system, employing a range of predatory insects. Thanks to these measures, along with their precise humidity and environmental controls, the harvest is an explosive sea of green — a tropical jungle bursting to meet demand.
In addition to their award-winning flower like Dosidos, Strawberry Cough, Harlox and Dr. Who, the cultivation also produces a full line of premium extracts ranging from potent diamonds and full-spectrum RSO to solvent-free distillate infused with cannabis-derived terpenes. High Grade AZ’s new commercial kitchen is the cherry on top, allowing them to introduce a new line of culinary delights to the community, including colorful hard candies, flavor-packed gummies, delectable truffles and much more.
